Rachel Downey is our mid-west sweetheart. A Kansas native, she is currently a third year nursing student at Union College in Nebraska. She claims that volleyball is the only sport that exists and loves Thursday nights when we can all play together. Her favorite things to do are spending time with her boyfriend Mitchell, her family, and all her friends, playing volleyball, exercising, shopping, reading, singing, meeting new people, trying new ice cream flavors, and going to Starbucks. Rachel is also excited about all the awesome nursing experience she is getting here in Peru.
