This week was a reminiscent one for Jenessa as she remembered back to her first months of teaching here before Rebecca arrived. “It’s different without Rebecca,” she says. “I don’t know how I controlled the classrooms before she was here. I must have been more efficient back then,” she said with a laugh. In her Tuesday class at Yerbas Buenas she went over some basic English phrases, played letter BINGO, sang songs with the kids, and finished off the class with a fun activity – a paper airplane flying contest! The kids had lots of fun making their airplanes and seeing who’s could fly the farthest. One thing that super cool about Jenessa – she never runs out of creative ideas! What more could we ask for in a Community Ambassador?
