Waxy Mission
Waxy Mission
The clinic at Km 8 is running strong. This whole week was full of patients and full of new adventures and experiences. On Monday the Stephanie and Rachel received a visit from their chaplain from Union. They were very happy to get to show him all that they do and he greatly enjoyed seeing all of their hard work because he was a former student missionary in Peru.
The girls also took out the biggest piece of earwax that they ever have from an older man who was completely deaf from having his ears covered over with wax. “I know... I always say that we took out the biggest piece of wax I’ve ever seen, Hanna,” Rachel told me. “But this seriously was the biggest piece of wax I’ve ever seen! I’m glad this man can finally hear now!”
