Teaching Again
Jenessa and Rebecca picked up a new English class this week. On a walk back from Km 40, Jenessa was stopped by one of the friendly ladies at a fruit stand and asked if she would come and teach English to the kids there. She agreed and on Monday showed up to about 10 bright and eager faces ready to learn English. The classes are on Monday – Wednesday from 9:45-11: a.m.
This week, she taught the kids the alphabet, parts of the body, some animals, the colors, and also some songs about God, both in English and in Spanish.
